Yesterday, I had the scariest and most thrilling experience of my life. I sang in public, a small one but still a crowd. At first, I was afraid, almost petrified, but the conductor gave me support and confidence. Of course, I’ll not be the next Sinatra, in fact, I still suck at singing.
What I could learn from this experience it’s when you truly open yourself and show your vulnerabilities and primal fears to others it’s like freeing your inner self. Releasing your true potential, and by potential, I mean what makes us human, not a rock or a door.
Various life decisions may cause fear, but by facing that fear, we can become better people. Risks can frequently accompany fear, but by taking those risks, we can grow and learn. Being able to uncover new skills and strength to face challenges.
